Farmhouse
Built in 1883 and restored in 2007, the farmhouse has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one is en suite), an additional, separate toilet and sleeps eight. There is a large sitting room with woodburner for the cooler evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a dining area in both the kitchen and at the end of the living room. Although there is no television, there is Wi-fi and a speaker for music. A washing machine and dishwasher provide for more practical needs.
Barn
Like the farmhouse, the barn was restored in 2007 and offers an airy and light open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The main double bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, plus there is an attic bedroom with two single beds and low ceilings that is well suited for children. Dedicated barn facilities include dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and wi-fi. (Click/tap inside edge of main photograph for more pictures.)
Pool, garden and games
Outside, there is a good sized heated pool (9mx6m) plus a selection of loungers to catch the sun and keep an eye on the children.
There is a games room with table tennis, and a variety of indoor and outdoor games, such as boules, badminton and croquet. The games room also has a projector allowing DVDs to be screened - this can work well for entertaining children on rainy days. The gardens offer numerous areas for al fresco dining in a lovely setting, and there is a gas barbeque for cooking whilst enjoying a glass of chilled wine.
